How did this all begin? Great question.

Over the last seven years, I’ve been making wine with friends in New Jersey, and eventually, I started sharing that passion with others here in Connecticut. What began with small batches in demijohns quickly grew—first into 26-gallon barrels, and then into my very first full-sized barrel.

​

One of the things I’ve always loved is cooking great meals for friends—plated dinners with thoughtful wine pairings. I never wanted to work in a traditional restaurant (I spent my 20s in pubs), but winemaking has given me the same creative satisfaction. Crafting a wine I’m proud of and sharing it with others feels just like cooking a beautiful meal.

No two winemakers will ever create the exact same wine, even using the same grapes. Everyone has their own unique touch—and that’s the beauty of it. At Quiet Corner Winery, I invite you to experience our wines, made from some of the finest handpicked grapes imported from Italy, South Africa, Chile, and California.

This spring, we’re kicking things off with four wines: three whites and one rosé. These varietals ferment more quickly and will be ready to enjoy sooner. By fall, we’ll be releasing our first reds, sourced from South Africa and Chile. After that, we plan to release new varietals from different parts of the world every six months.
